...let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
But Jesus called the children to Him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

1st - 4th Grade
Sunday School - 9-10
Kidz Worship - 10-11
All kids will begin the Sunday morning service in the sanctuary and will remain with their parents until the Hymn of Welcome. At that time, all kids from 1st-4th grade are welcome to join Mrs. Sandy and Mr. Layne in the Children's Church room for a great time of singing and learning about the Word of God.
Each Sunday morning lesson is created and taught by Mrs. Sandy and Mr. Layne. For 2015, we will be learning to pray, how to help missionaries and how to invite others to church. We are also engaging the children in how to apply basic Biblical truths to their everyday lives.
We take up an offering each Sunday Morning. The destination of our offering is voted on by the kids every three months. We currently send our monies to various missions in Georgia, Uganda, Haiti and South America. We hope to add more places this year. The kids enjoy the Offering Challenges and look forward to hearing how they are helping spread the Gospel around the world!!
During the months of September - May, the kids meet weekly in their classrooms for Pioneer Club. In this club, the kids are able to learn about God's truth and how to apply it. They also are encouraged to memorize the scripture associated with each week's lesson. During these lessons, the kids may take a nature walk, create a gift, make cards, use power tools, go fishing, play games or so much more. It is a wonderful time of fellowship for the kids. Every fifth Wednesday night we have a Badge Ceremony. The kids are able to retell what they have learned, recite their verses and have fun. Then, their teacher will give them the badges earned individually by each child. The badges go on a sash provided by the club. We do a mission related craft and eat together. It is a sweet time to celebrate what the kids are doing.
We have classes for preschool(3-4)
1-2 grade = Voyagers
3-4 grade = Pathfinders
5 grade = Trailblazers
The Club also does extra activities including Family outings, hikes, and other fun activities.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
